Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Definition Dossier Specialist for Propulsion Engineering (M/F) to join our Propulsion Engineering Technical Capabilities team based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing Method and Tools. As part of the Propulsion Engineering Technical Capabilities team, you will be involved in contributing to a community and projects aiming at managing PLM activities for Propulsion Engineering.

Your challenges:

As Definition Dossier Specialist you will actively contribute to the digital transformation of the design process. Your primary objective will be to participate in the maturation, deployment, and practical implementation of new design methods within Airbus PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tools, with a focus on improving the efficiency and quality of the Definition Dossier.

In the overall mission, your key responsibilities will be to:

- Lead the analysis of current design methods and contribute to the definition of new target methods.

- Contribute to the maturation of innovative design methods in collaboration with engineering and PLM teams.

- Contribute to the operational deployment of methods and associated PLM tools, as technical referent.

- Support engineering teams in the use of methods and PLM functionalities.

- Participate in the digitalization of the Airbus Definition Dossier (Structure, System Installation & Electrical system Installation)

- Guarantee the alignment of deployed methods with Airbus standards and requirements.

Your boarding pass:

- In-depth knowledge of the Airbus Definition Dossier: Understanding of the challenges, structure, and deliverables associated with the Definition Dossier.

- Experience in the Electrical System Install, Structure, Mechanical System Install domain: Proven experience in one of these fields, with a willingness to develop on the other.

- Proficiency in Design Methods: Ability to understand, define/criticize, and deploy new working methods.

- Comfort with Digitalization and PLM Tools:

- Strong interest in the challenges of digital transformation.

- Practical and theoretical experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.

- General Skills:

- Ability to work in a team out of organizational silos and with an international environment.

- Good analysis, synthesis, and communication skills.

- Proactive, customer-oriented, and able to propose new ideas.
